How long does it take you to ship an order?
We ship orders no later than the next business day after you place the order. By "business day" we mean Monday through Friday, excluding those holidays on which the US Postal Service is closed. We sometimes ship orders on Saturdays too, or on the same weekday you place an order, but you shouldn't count on that always happening.
What's your return & refund policy?
Most sales are final; the only exceptions are if you receive something damaged, or receive an incorrect or incomplete order. In those cases, we'll replace the damaged item(s) at no cost to you, and/or fix any incorrect or incomplete orders, and/or issue a complete or partial refund of your money, as appropriate to the situation.
Why do you have an order minimum? I just want one token!
In the past we sold tokens, bases, and other small items in packs of a dozen or so. In practice, this amounted to an order minimum , since we were grouping things into sets big enough to ensure a certain minimum price. However, we (not you) were deciding which products were included in the packs, so you were out of luck if you wanted a different combination of items.
Instead, now you can select as few as one of any token or base, rather than a pack of multiples. This allows you to pick a group including only those items you want, not a group including items we thought you might want.
The reason it's not profitable for us to sell you just one token is twofold: both Paypal and our credit card processor charge us fees on every transaction; and we're absorbing the shipping & packaging costs to get your order to you. Between these two things, we lose money on transactions below a certain dollar amount.
In short, having an order minimum gives you maximum flexibility in what combination of items to order, helps us keep our per-item prices low, and lets us offer free shipping to all addresses in the US.
Why don't you make X for my favorite game?
Either because we didn't think of it, or because we haven't gotten to it yet, or because somebody's likely to sue us if we do. Send us an email and let us know what you'd like to see.
Can you make me this custom game widget I've always wanted?
Maybe, what is it? Send us an email and we'll see what we can do. We're happy to work on custom orders, though generally they take a bit longer and cost a bit more than our stock items.
I use pennies, candy and shoestrings to represent things in my RPG, so I don't need
to buy from you!
That's not really a question. But yeah, if that works for you, knock yourself out. Most roleplaying games can be played with just a pencil and paper, and when we were young and poor that's how we did it. But we have grown-up jobs now, and we think it's worth a few bucks to spice things up a little. Our stuff is useful and looks cool, and it doesn't really break the bank.
